Course Overview
The NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Civil Engineering
qualification was designed for learners who wish to work in the civil engineering sector. Learners will gain knowledge on employment, health, safety and welfare and sustainability within
civil engineering as well as an introduction to Building Information Modelling (BIM). In addition, they will follow one of the available pathways to gain an understanding of specific roles within civil engineering.

Entry requirements:
Learners should have GCSE/CXC's grades in mathematics and English.
Equivalences
Qualifi qualifications at Level 5 represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities and competences that are assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to programmes at the level of Bachelor’s Degrees.
Delivery:

Progression
This is an expanding sector and employers are looking for new entrants to help with the delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects. By completing this qualification learners will be able to demonstrate to employers that they have an interest in working within civil engineering and will be in a stronger position to secure an Apprenticeship or
gain employment at a Technician/Trainee level. If they achieve a Distinction and A Level Mathematics (Grade A) this may meet the requirements to apply for a place at university.
